The Sonder Practice was founded by Georgina Blake out of a desire to create a space for curiosity, reflection, and exploration of family relationships for the sake of supporting children’s mental health and flourishing.

Fascinated by early development and the experience of childhood on a child’s growing sense of self, Georgina embraces the opportunity to come alongside parents who are keen to pursue a respectful and responsive relationship with their children. Whether working directly with a child, with parents, or with organisations that support children, Georgina adopts a compassionate, attachment and neurobiologically-informed response and methodology.

Georgina has over 15 years’ experience supporting children, families, and organisations through creative child psychotherapy, parent-child therapy, parent psychotherapy, therapeutic consulting and clinical supervision. Georgina is a full professional member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), adhering to their Codes of Ethics, including maintaining confidentiality and relational boundaries at all times.
